I hope the assessment went well. I enjoyed listening and it was lovely to hear the accents again, but a strong message to go away and contemplate too. Poor old Eva, she got the rough deal with all the pronunciation of the Place names that week.
For anyone who is interested, Nina and I have settled well here, down South. It’s very rural here – mud plastered tractors and lorries of sheep drive past most days! I am now a volunteer at the local Churches Together Christian Books and Fairtrade Goods Shop, amongst other things.
