just listened to the service that Mavis did on the 16th of jan 2011. Wish i had been there as it really spoke to me especially about keeping my baptismal vows and about my covenant with god... I was baptised when i was a child like Mavis but also i was baptised by immersion as an adult and i know i have not kept all the vows i made on that beautiful day.. I have often wondered why god never speaks to me or tells me what it is i should be doing with my life but as Mavis says a covenant is a 2 way street why should god bother himself too much with me when i don't bother with god as much as i could or should do????? It made me stop and think and i realised that the times i have had pictures and images from GOD have been the times when i have spent time with GOD whether reading my bible or just spending time talking to GOD telling him how i feel and thanking him for all he has done for me and for all he has given me , these are the times i am really open and honest with our lord and these are the times that he speaks to me through pictures ,words and images...Mavis went on to tell a story of a father and son walking in the snow and it kind of tells my journey with god as well. I started my journey like the young boy zig zagging along ,eyes open wide looking at everything but as i've grown i've become like the father , head down trudging through the snow not bothered whats around him but just wanting to get home....to finish i would just like to say thank you to Mavis for showing me that no matter what life throws at me , i have to keep moving and growing with GOD and letting him have full control of my life and not just little bits of it .... thank you and god bless love always in christ jesus john ord ...

Thanks for asking. Hey that great news about your niece, I can't say I blame your nephew for not wanting to take part. I've done my fair share of dressing up in ridiculous costumes for other church nativity plays when I was younger ;)
