The Project History Facilities Mission Diary Location

Computer RoomThe House on the Hill is equipped with its own computer suite and is a registered UK Online Centre. New users can be taught basic computer skills through My Guide and more advanced users can do courses through Learn Direct or use the Internet or Office applications free of charge.


Main HallThere is a large hall for 100 people with stage area which is available for hire. The venue would be suitable for youth or children events, stage shows, entertainment programmes, wedding receptions, birthday parties, conferences, meetings or exhibitions (see below for further details).


KitchenThere is a large fully fitted kitchen which was recently renovated in May 2010 and is available for hire (see below for further details). The Kitchen is equipped with a microwave, dishwasher, fridge freezer, double sink, double oven and hob, complete with kitchen utensils.


CrecheAdjoining the kitchen is a creche facility primarily for the Parent’s and Toddlers group. In addition there is disabled access and the building is equipped with a standard fire and security alarm.

The business has friendly staff helping clients to feel welcomed and to make the most of the facilities available.

Standard Rental Rates

Hall (17.20 x 10.50m): 30/Hr (Half Day: £85, Full Day: £170)
Kitchen (5.10 x 4.80m): £15/Hr (Half Day: £40, Full Day: £75)

10% Non refundable deposit required with all bookings made.
20% Discount rates are available to voluntary and not for profit organisations
10% Discount if you quote special internet voucher code PROJECTWEB10 (Offer Expires 31/07/10).

Note: Discounted rates cannot be in used in conjunction with each other

Times

Half Day: 9am-12pm or 1pm-5pm or 6pm-9pm
Full Day: 9am-5pm

Booking

If you would like to book please follow these simple steps:
1) Check the diary for availability.
2) Email or call 0191 469 3308 (Office hours are weekdays between 10am and 5pm) to make a booking request. Please include your name, contact number, room requested, dates and times.
3) After you receive confirmation please make a cheque payable to “Christ Church Youth and Community Project” to cover 10% deposit for your proposed booking. Then send in the post to The House on the Hill, Sunderland Road, Felling, Gateshead, NE10 9LR.
4) Once your deposit cheque has cleared into our bank account we will send you a final confirmation and your event will be shown on our diary.
