Our Vision is “To produce dynamic and excellent worship from a heart of praise that draws people freely into God’s throne room.”

Would you like to be part of the worship team? First ask yourself these questions…

  1. What is my relationship with God?
  2. Why is worship so important to me?
  3. What gifts and vision will I bring to the group?

As a member of the worship team it is important to remember the following…

  1. Your lifestyle matters…
  2. 1 John 5:1-4 says “Whoever believes that Jesus is the Christ is born of God, and everyone who loves Him who begot also loves him who is begotten of Him. By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God and keep His commandments. For this is the love of God, that we keep His commandments. And His commandments are not burdensome. For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world—our faith.”

Matthew 15:8-9 says “These people draw near to Me with their mouth, And honor Me with their lips, But their heart is far from Me. And in vain they worship Me, Teaching as doctrines the commandments of men.”

Matthew 7:15-20 says “Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves. You will know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes from thornbushes or figs from thistles? Even so, every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit. A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, nor can a bad tree bear good fruit. Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. Therefore by their fruits you will know them.”

  3. Be accountable to each other…
  4. Ephesians 4:2 says “with all lowliness and gentleness, with longsuffering, bearing with one another in love,”

  5. Serve and bless others above yourself…
  6. Romans 12:1-2 says “I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service. And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.”

  7. Be committed…
  8. 1 Corinthians 15:58 says “Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Lord.”

  9. Encourage and build others up…
  10. Hebrews 10:24 says “And let us consider one another in order to stir up love and good works,”

  11. Bring excellence in how you sing, play and dance…
  12. Colossians 3:23-24 says “And whatever you do, do it heartily, as to the Lord and not to men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the inheritance; for you serve the Lord Christ.”

  13. Remain in unity with each other…
  14. Ephesians 4:3-5 says “endeavoring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called in one hope of your calling; one Lord, one faith, one baptism;”

  15. Worship is evangelistic…
  16. Acts 26:17-18 says “I will deliver you from the Jewish people, as well as from the Gentiles, to whom I now send you, to open their eyes, in order to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan to God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins and an inheritance among those who are sanctified by faith in Me.”
